OCTOBER
October 4 10:00am Pruning - The
Good, the Bad and the Ugly This session will de-mystify the
timing and techniques of pruning trees and shrubs, and enable you to make
good decisions to keep your woody plants healthy, blooming, and an asset
to your property.
October 4 1:00pm Rain Gardens
Surprisingly easy to create, rain gardens are a hot trend that started in
Europe, and make a lot of sense here as well. Learn how to design, dig and
choose plants for a flower garden that will collect runoff from your roof,
and enhance your yard’s beauty at the same time!
October 11 10:00am Silk Floral
Design of Seasonal Wreaths Join our floral designer while she
demonstrates how to create an elegant piece for the holidays. You’ll learn
design principles and basic construction at the same time, and examine the
excellent selection of quality holiday silk materials.
